The gameplay loop for most of mmo player is not what they are looking for.ĭoes a terrible job of explaining anything to new players making it super frustrating to actually get in.Īnd last this type of mmos are allways a blast when they start but as soon as the new players stop coming in the cracks start to showup: since player are the content and both noobs and vets have a role to play on that content when there is no new players on of the roles is not being fulfilled turn the game in a biggest party gank simulator.Įdit: Not saying poeple shouldn't like it just justifying why the mmo comunity is the worst comunity for this type of game most of what it offers is not what the mmo genre as a hole likes. Game feels dead with no npc activity like hige cities and super static and boring npc activity.

There is way harder things to look away in the game. Its not because of the concurrent numbers.

My guild miscalculated and told us to leave Haven ASAP due to issues with new players, turned out that I was not able to log in for days if not weeks of my highest interest in the game, other guildmates managed to progress with PC open 24/7, I refuse to leave this resource hog on with PC turned on.Ģ) the issue with content as you mention- I don't know if it's my limited time, or I misremember how Darkfall Online was, but it seemed that I was able to do much more in DFO with 2 hours to spare, while in Mortal I managed to walk through the wasteland for 2 hours to find a few cougar and boar spots and that's it having to go back for another 2 hoursīut to reitarate, if you have lots of time, and can find a guild/have some mates, it'll be a blast as long as you're not stuck in the mindset that your character = your gear. I played it since its release but there were two things that turned me off.ġ) Queues - you probably know what I mean by that. If you have time and people to play with, I'd fully agree.
